Each cycle consumes less than 1 kWh (approximately 0.8 kWh) - this is roughly equivalent to having a desktop computer running for the same amount of time as the cycle.
Earthy's by-product (Erth™) is not compost, however, the organic fertiliser produced by the machine is a great soil amendment. Erth™ can be added to the soil to enrich the soil, increase nutrient parts-per-million, strengthen root structures and stems and enhance plant growth.
Of course size matters
Nobody wants a small composter, or do they? Earthy Enrich has been specifically designed to maximise space for food waste, whilst still being elegant enough to take pride of place on your kitchen side.
General dimensions H37.9cm x L28.8cm x W30.8cm
How long does it take to make Erth™
Earthy Enrich operates an automated program drying, grinding, stoving and sterilising to reduce food scraps into odourless Erth™ in as little as 4.5 hours.
Let's create a cleaner community
Food waste in your bin creates odours and attracts pests. It also means collection has to be more frequent. Eliminate the bin day smell and have fewer refuse trucks driving around the community.
It's our responsibility to protect the environment
Up to 40% of carbon emissions from waste are created during transport. Earthy eliminates all emissions from transport and leaves you with a nutrient-rich Erth™ for your house plants and garden.
Any Other Questions?
Enrich comes with a 1-year warranty which applies should your machine have a manufacturer defect in product material or workmanship within the stated warranty period. The warranty is non-transferable and proof of purchase is required to claim.
Enrich accelerates the composting process, decomposing organic matter (like food & plant waste) into CO2, water, and nutrient-rich Erth™.
Enrich does this by harnessing both physical and bio-chemical means of breaking down food waste. Our one touch system guides Enrich through the three main stages of composting while maintaining ideal conditions for microorganisms to thrive.
The sensors in Enrich ensure proper moisture content, warm temperatures, and plenty of oxygen to create the optimum conditions to speed up the natural decomposition process. This also stimulates aerobic decomposition (decomposition by microbes that require oxygen) which is the most efficient and rapid way of composting with minimal odour production.
Enrich makes noise comparable to other small countertop appliances which is less than 60 db. (Don’t worry, that’s a lot less than a blender or food processor!) It’s around the same or less than a coffee maker, modern dishwasher, etc!
We’ve found on average, a family of two might use it about twice per week! A family of 4 may use it once per day - it really depends on your preferences and how much food waste you create!
